April 4 & 5 @ 7pm In the midst of financial despair and facing the loss of their beloved playhouse a group of struggling actors find hope in an unexpected source: Olivia, a grieving widow who stumbles into their lives. As they grapple with the impending threat of losing their theatrical home, Olivia proposes a daring plan. Despite initial doubts and fears, the group rallies behind the idea, finding renewed determination and camaraderie in their shared mission. Thus the stage is set for an epic journey of resilience, ingenuity, and the enduring power of friendship in the face of adversity. Yet, in this tale woven across centuries, the conclusion is foretold, with destiny guiding their intertwined fates. Character doubling will be: Charlie/Richard Burbage, Adam/Will Kemp, Greg/John Heminges, Jennifer/Rebecca Heminges, And Husband/William Shakespeare/Drunk. Audition will include cold readings from the script. All experience levels welcome. |
