​Batavia Players invites performers of all experience levels to audition for our upcoming interactive murder mystery events, both directed, written, and coordinated by Sophie Houseman!

Murder at the Cafe on the Corner

Auditions will be:
Saturday May 24th at 7pm

Performance will be:
Friday June 20th at Eden Cafe & Bakeshop

A cozy café turns into a crime scene in this intimate mystery experience featuring 2–3 performers. Come prepared to bring big character energy to a small cast!

Murder at the Carnival

Auditions will be:
Sunday May 25th at 3pm
Monday May 26th at 6:30pm

Performances will be:
Thursday June 26th & Saturday June 28th at Main St. 56 Theater

​Additional performances possible on Friday June 27th and Saturday July 12th at off-site locations

Step right up to a world of secrets and suspense! This full-scale mystery will feature around 10 performers plus a possible ensemble.

​Additional Info:
  • Cold reads from the script — no preparation necessary!
  • You are welcome to audition for both events, but casts will be separate.
  • No conflicts allowed during tech week, the week prior to each performance.
  • Auditionees must be age 16 or older, or provide written parental permission to participate.
