Scholarship Opportunities

Batavia Players, Inc. is committed to the community and the youth that participate in the program. 

Each year, Batavia Players awards two cash scholarships to students for higher education.

Christine Aquino Memorial

Performing Arts Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating Senior of Batavia High School, who plans to further his/her education.  Preference will be given to a student who plans to study some aspect of the Performing Arts, but any student who has demonstrated a strong interest and involvement in Drama or an associated area during high school is eligible to apply.

Summer Youth Theater

Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a graduating Senior who plans to further his/her education.  The applicant must be involved with the summer youth theater program for the year in which the scholarship is awarded.  Preference will be given to a student who plans to study some aspect of the Performing Arts, but any student who has demonstrated a strong interest and involvement in Drama or an associated area during high school is eligible to apply.

Information will be provided during the summer program.

Summer Youth Theater Award

This scholarship is awarded to a middle school student.  The applicant must be involved with the summer youth theater program for the year in which the scholarship is awarded.  The award is voted on by the applicant's peers.  The scholarship consists of the complete works of Shakespeare.
