SUMMER
YOUTH THEATER 2022 (Ages 13-21) Will be performing: Godspell With wonderful & iconic music written by Stephen Schwartz, Godspell is based on a series of stories or parables as told in the Gospel of St. Matthew. Featuring well known musical gems, this year's Summer Youth Theater selection is centered on highlighting the talents of a wide range of young people from the ages of 13 to 21. This will be a fantastic summer experience! Performances: August 12th, 13th & 14th at Batavia City Centre Friday & Saturday @ 7:30pm, Sunday @ 2:00pm AUDITIONS WILL BE: June 15 & 16 @ 6-8pm Batavia City Center (formerly Genesee Country Mall) (Entrance is located on the East side of the mall to the right of Batavia Family Dental - Purple Door) Please select the day you are auditioning and plan on being in attendance the entire time – contact Kathy White at kathywhite5@verizon.net to indicate the date you plan to audition. The Audition will include SCRIPT SELECTIONS and
SELECTED SONGS which are included below: EVERYONE will prepare the PROLOGUE, all the parts (there are 5 pages) FEMALES will prepare 24 measures of TURN BACK, O MAN (1page) MALES will prepare the 16 measure Acapella section of PREPARE YE … (1 page) ANYONE interested in JESUS will prepare the first 14 measures of the FINALE including the company section (1 page) SONGS MUST BE PREPARED BEFORE THE AUDITION Music Selections are available on this site (at left) as well as by contacting Kathy White |
